Fokus 2005
The role of public libraries in knowledge society

The Norwegian Library Association joined the IFLA campaign @your library in the late autumn 2004.

In 2005 the association will focus on the role of public libraries in the society of the future, which we describe as a global, market-oriented, knowledge-based society.

FOKUS 2005 will be a one year campaign to develop and promote new roles for Norwegian libraries. Much of the work will be carried out by SFP - the Special interest group on public library policy.
